Join Instructor John Moss for a deeper dive into the art of Photography. Go beyond the basics in this class – especially if you’re considering earning income from this exciting art form. Chances are, once your friends and family see how amazing your photos are, you’ll get asked to shoot birthday or anniversary parties, kids portraits, sporting events or maybe even weddings! John will also cover the basics of the business side of Photography, so you’ll be prepared whether to accept or decline an offer.
This class will help you realize your photography vision, as John helps you take beautiful outdoor portraits utilizing natural light, reflectors, fill flash and subtractive lighting. You’ll also get experience being on both sides of the camera, which will prove invaluable as you learn the importance of communication with your subjects. Finally, you’ll learn various styles of photography including light & airy contemporary as well as a traditional group and flow posing. To aid your photographic journey, John is offering his proprietary, copyright-protected electronic content (deck or PowerPoint) for a cash-only purchase of $45 during class.
Note: Students should have some photography experience and a good working knowledge of their camera’s manual with the ability to change camera settings, depth of field, apertures, shutter speeds, ISO etc. DSLR or film camera with removable flash.
Supplies Students Bring: Your camera (either SLR 35mm or DSLR digital), film cards / film, fully-charged batteries, & removable flash; (optional) water bottle, notebook & pen.
