The Fallbrook School of the Arts Campus sits in the historic downtown section of Fallbrook. The 3,500 square foot campus features two main buildings with defined usage plus other areas dedicated to specific art disciplines. Fallbrook School of the Arts is dedicated to enhancing the cultural life of the picturesque village of Fallbrook by providing arts education to every age, skill level and socio-economic group. The Fallbrook School of the Arts offers classes and workshops to the public in ceramics, warm glass, printmaking, jewelry making, classical drawing, fiber arts, oil/acrylic/watermedia/pastel painting, paper arts, life drawing.

Ceramics Studio

We provide classes for all levels of experience for both youth and adults. Along with on-going classes offered in both day and evening, we offer visiting artists workshops as well as specialized workshops including Raku and glaze applications.
Our fully equipped Ceramics Studio features, 12 electric wheels, 5 kilns (2 electric, 2 gas firing to Cone 10, 1 Raku), 2 slab rollers, spray booth, clay extruder, and large work surfaces for hand-building. Clay is available for purchase and firing and glazes are included in class fees.
Due to the high volume of classes, we are unable to offer independent studio rental or firing services for works created outside our classes.
Warm Glass Studio
Sometimes referred to as fused glass, warm glass, or kiln work, this craft involves molding and manipulating glass inside a kiln. With readily available materials and modern computer controlled kilns, glass fusing has exploded in popularity in the recent years.
Our fully-equipped Warm Glass Studio offers a wide variety of classes and workshops for novices to experienced glass workers taught by knowledgeable and friendly instructors.
Printmaking Studio
Our printmaking studio offers a well-equipped studio and diverse schedule of classes and workshops for both youth and adults to foster the development of printmaking as a vibrant and progressive art form. Professional artists and students can work in a variety of traditional and alternative processes including intaglio, monoprint, relief, lithography, screenprint, letterpress, book arts, and paper making.
The studio is comprised of three connected spaces totaling 1,850 square feet: Press Room with 4 presses and large drying racks; Work Space with tables & chairs, magnetic hanging system, light table, a NuArc large exposure unit; and covered outside Deck Space with hot plate, deep sink, and a large inking table.

Classrooms

To accommodate our many classes and workshops, we have 2 classrooms - Studio A and Studio B. Both are equipped with magnetic hanging systems, demo mirrors, 6' tables, chairs, easels, stools, and whiteboards. A multitude of windows in both classrooms allow for natural light along with a color-corrected lighting system as well as dark-out shades for light control. Other classroom amenities include a light table, paper cutter, and sink (Studio B).
Independent Artist Studios
The Campus has two studio spaces rented by individual artists to create their own work.
The Phil Burns Reference Art Library
Phil Burns loved everything about art. Throughout his career as a designer he collected books that he used as both an inspiration and reference for his work. It was Phil's wish that the collection remain as a reference library for other artists. Several years before his death in 2014 he gifted the entire book collection to the Fallbrook Arts Inc. with the understanding that the Art Library be housed at the Fallbrook School of the Arts.
Stone Carving Pavilion
The covered outdoor Stone Carving Pavilion features ten individual work stations with air compressor hookups and the capacity for large-scale works.
