Class/Workshop Details

Join Instructor Suzanne Balestri and create gorgeous glass wall pocket vases to cradle flower cuttings (yes, they're water-tight), dried flowers, herbs, or incense sticks. Or hang them as gorgeous pieces of art on walls, windows, or even fences!  Learn how to use thick fiber paper to create the form for the "pocket" of the vase as well as how to embed the chain hook into your unique design.  Glass cutting techniques and design consideration will be offered.  And there’s a large selection of colored glass to choose from.  Make one or two wall vases (approx. 4”x7”/ea) - hooks, chain, and pocket material is included 

Note:  There is a $10 (cash only) materials fee due at the workshop. All glass art will be kiln-fired after class and ready for pick up at FSA in approximately one week or contact our office for shipping options.  Please wear closed-toed shoes and long pants as a safety consideration.
