The sea is calling! Answer it by creating a beautiful circular glass sculpture highlighting an ocean wave. Using a pre-cut rounded glass background, Instructor Michelle Sherer will show you how to add glass to form a sparkling wave. Choose your wave colors from a large variety of colored glass and cut them using “nippers” for this mosaic-inspired art piece, and you’ll also make your own frit (ground glass). Michelle will demonstrate basic fused glass techniques to help you achieve fantastic results! Once you’ve created your glass art, it goes into a kiln to fuse together. Your finished ocean wave glass art will be approximately 7.5” and ready for display. Custom stands are available for purchase in class at $30 each or use your own. Beginners are welcome! Your Sea of Waves glass art will be ready for pickup at FSA approximately one week after class. Or contact our office for shipping options and fees.
Students to Bring: N95 mask is required. Long pants and closed-toe shoes are recommended.
