In this class, students will spend time each day on developing a short story complete with characters, plot, and setting. After each writing session, students will work on illustrations to accompany their stories. Writing sessions will emphasize effective use of language, character development in relation to conflict, and incorporation of setting. Upon finishing the course, students will have completed a basic draft of a short story along with four accompanying illustrations.
All skill levels encouraged!
Class sessions will last one hour and 20 minutes (approximately 40 minutes for writing, 40 minutes for illustration)
