Karen has spent most of her career in the corpo- rate world as an Environmental Health and Safety professional working for the healthcare, manufac- turing and biotech industries. She has always been creative (dancing, singing and painting) and made her move to the nonprofit world to continue her journey as an arts supporter and business

woman.

I am passionate about the arts because art, in any form, is the true expression of individual unique- ness. Everyone is creative and the ways we show creativity varies just as every snowflake is different from the next. It is exciting and wonderful to be immersed in the business of offering various kinds of arts and culture to our Southern California com- munities.
