Join ceramic artist Charles Snowden for a dynamic demonstration exploring his sculptural process and artistic philosophy. Drawing inspiration from historical rituals, nature, and the cycles of life and death, Snowden’s work reimagines apotropaic objects—ceramic forms believed to offer protection and healing.
During this demonstration, he will share his approach to hand-building and sculptural storytelling, revealing how clay becomes a vessel for themes of mortality, decay, and renewal.

Charles Snowden (b. 1989, San Diego, CA; Lives and works in Barcelona, Spain and Los Angeles, CA) received his BA from Humboldt State University and his MFA from the University of California, Los Angeles.
