About the event
Adorn your walls, windows, and even fences with two cheerful Wall Pocket Vases created by your own hands. These fused glass, water-tight vases are wonderful for flower cuttings, dried flowers, herbs, incense sticks, or just left plain. You will be shown how to use thick fiber paper to create the form for the “pocket” of your vase and how to embed the chain hooks within your design. You will be guided as needed in glass cutting techniques and design considerations. Bring your mom, daughter, or a friend! Beginners welcome! Space is limited, so register today!
Make one or two wall vases (approx. 4”x7”/ea) - hooks, chain, and pocket material is included. Note: There is a $15 (cash only) materials fee due at the workshop. All glass art will be kiln-fired after class and ready for pick up at FSA in approximately two weeks.
