About the event
Are you ready to take the plunge and create beautiful ceramics? Let Instructor Maggie Skidmore guide you through the step-by-step process using various methods of this exciting art form. Learn about construction and design, as well as glazing and firing techniques as you create your masterpiece! This course is great for beginners and more experienced potters. The possibilities are endless! You have the opportunity to work on the potter's wheel, learn handbuilding techniques and sculpture.
Each student may create up to 6 pieces of average size (ask your Instructor for guidance) to be bisque and glaze-fired per six-week session. Additional pieces may be subject to firing fees (some restrictions apply). We do not accept premade ceramic art, outside clay or glaze - this maintains the integrity of everyone's work.
