Optical Illusion Basket

Introducing Marsha Orr's Optical Illusion Basket, which received an Honorable Mention at the 2024 San Diego County Fair. Join Marsha to create this stunning piece, showcasing a slotted oval base, intricate twining, a twill weave, a 3 Rod wale, and a continuous over-under weave, all topped off with a rim crafted from waxed linen. The standout feature is the gorgeous space-dyed reed, available in various color options. Its dimensions are approximately 10 inches long, 8 inches wide, and 6 inches tall.

Participants are encouraged to bring an old towel, sturdy scissors, and a tapestry needle, as all other materials will be supplied.
