Come have some fun and learn a bit about vitrigraph, cane, and murrini. In this full day class, you will work from three completely different pots of glass. Two pots will have two different cane patterns, colors and techniques. The third pot will be a simple murrini pattern. All students will then create two different panels that may later be slumped into dishes or used as decorative panels, incorporating what was pulled from the cane and murrini pulls. We will have three separate vitrigraph kilns running. The two cane patterns will be pulled in the morning, and the murrini will be pulled early afternoon.
All projects will be fired in our kilns and available for pick-up after Friday in the following week at the Fallbrook School of the Arts.
(Choose 2 colors you would like to work with at sign-up and we will try to include at least one. We cannot guarantee but will try to get your choice in the pots. They have to heat up a few hours before class so we want to know your choice ahead… thanks!)
