Session 3: June 19-21, 2018 (Tues/Wed/Thur) | For students who will be in grades 6th & 7th as of August 2018.The Fallbrook School of the Arts is pleased to announce the Fourth Annual STEAM Camp.We welcome Sally Ride Science at UC San Diego as our partners in this effort. Sally Ride Science was cofounded in 2001 by America’s first woman in space to inspire girls and boys of all backgrounds to study science and to imagine themselves in science and technology careers. Today, that mission continues through Sally Ride Science at UC San Diego under the direction of UC San Diego Extension. Innovative programs include STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) workshops. This year’s workshops explore engaging topics ranging from Pirate Science to Marine Mammals and Gorging on Geology to the Science of Harry Potter. In addition, back by popular demand, Kids Reptile Wildlife Biologist will also be visiting our Camp. The Sally Ride STEM educators have gotten great reviews on these offerings.Students who will be in grades 6 and 7 as of August 2018 are invited to register for STEAM Camp.The three half day camps begin at 8:15 AM and conclude at noon. A snack and lunch are provided. The cost of each camp per participant is $150. Due to the generous support of donors, the registration fee is $90.Due to the popularity, students may sign up for ONE of the sessions.
