Join us for this very timely class and create a fused glass clock! Whether fanciful or basic, design whatever makes you tick! Instructor Susan Hirsch will teach you how to cut glass and assemble your project to create the most incredible work of glass art that’s also functional. Choose from an assortment of opaque or translucent glass colors, clear glass and glass embellishments. After your clock has been fired, we’ll drill a hole for the clock hardware (provided), then you’ll be ready to assemble your one-of-a-kind glass clock. If you want a curved or shaped clock, there will be an additional $20 slump firing fee due at the workshop. Each student may create one contour-fused, two-layer clock up to 10”x10” in a variety of shapes.
Please Note: There is a $10 (cash only) materials fee due at the workshop. All glass art will be kiln-fired after class and ready for pick up at FSA in approximately one week or contact our office for shipping options. No outside glass is allowed at FSA. Closed-toed shoes and long pants are recommended as a safety consideration.
Supply Fee: $10 cash-only supply fee due to instructor at time of class.
Supplies Students Bring: Long pants & closed-toed shoes are recommended
