Join Instructor Dixon Fish for an introduction to calligraphy– just in time for your holiday greeting cards, gift tags and dinner cards!  You’ll learn a variety of calligraphy styles and techniques including "Old English'' flourish as well as modern styles.  Dixon will show you how to create a calligraphic alphabet and how to string letters together to form words.  Soon you’ll be creating romantic works of art.  It’s all about the rhythm.  Dixon will also break down calligraphy tools including the elusive calligraphy pen.  But don’t worry, for this beginning class, you’ll use a Pilot calligraphy pen (not a fountain pen).  Finally, he’ll provide resource materials, so you can continue your calligraphic journey at home.  All materials provided.
