Class/Workshop Details

Please join us in the Glass Studio with Visiting Instructor Patty Gray as she teaches how to create her signature gorgeous glass plant stake art.  Your garden will love you for it!  If you have fused glass experience (including glass cutting), we invite you to join us for this next-level workshop.  Patty has taught throughout the U.S. and has been featured in Las Vegas at the Glass Craft Expo for many years, so this is a rare opportunity to learn from her years of experience as a professional glass artist. Class size is limited to 10, so don’t delay in securing your spot!

Patty will bring her molds of round and square shapes and sizes for students to use and her techniques to achieve exquisite results!  Each student will have the opportunity to create one glass art piece of the following sizes and shapes:  8” round or square, 10” round or square or one 24” x 2 3/4”.  If you’d like to display your garden art on a garden stake or stand, Patty will have various stakes and stands available for purchase for $30/ea.

Note:  There is a $75 materials fee (cash or check only) due at the workshop for precut glass, murrini, and special glass design elements in a rainbow of colors.  Your glass art will be kiln-fired after class and ready for pick up at FSA in approximately one week or contact our office for shipping options.  No outside glass is allowed at FSA. Long pants and closed toe shoes recommended. There will be a lunch break, and you are welcome to bring a cooler sack lunch & beverage or enjoy one of Fallbrook’s local eateries.
