Calling all kids! Join instructor Niki Hilsabeck and have a fun morning learning all about painting with pastels! Soft pastels are sticks of paint which are used by first drawing an image then using your finger or tools to create brush-like strokes. If you’d rather not get your fingers messy, finger cots and gloves will be provided. Niki will help you learn about this fascinating medium as she emphasizes contrasting lights, darks, and complementary colors. A photo will be provided as inspiration as well as all art tools and materials to complete one 9”x12” painting you’ll treasure for a lifetime!
FSA will provide all materials for one 9x12 painting and some practice paper!
