Journey back in time with Instructor Dixon Fish as he guides you into the world of drawing – inspired by 15th century artists. Both fascinating as well as a practical-applied experience, Old World Drawing will explore time-honored techniques and natural materials.  You’ll experiment with at least three different inks made from natural resources as you watch your drawings transform into creative inspired works of art.  Dixon will show how to use traditional tools such as quills, reeds and metal tip implements while studying close up objects reminiscent of the Renaissance Masters. End the day with a sampling of drawings you’ve completed along with a greater understanding of the methods and resources artists used in centuries past and are rediscovering today.

There will be a lunch break and you are welcome to bring your own or enjoy one of Fallbrook’s local eateries.

Please note, there is an additional $10 (cash-only) supply fee due at the workshop.
