Class/Workshop Details

Join Instructor Marsha Orr for FSA’s first-ever Basketry Open Studio! It’s the perfect opportunity to catch up on past basketry projects, practice weaves, and ask questions from a weaving master.  While no new instruction will take place, Marsha will be on hand to assist with your existing project, offer helpful advice and answer questions. And there will be reeds and other materials available for purchase if you need anything to complete your basket art. Also, if you’d like to continue practicing basketry at home, Marsha has a YouTube video series with instructions to make a round basket.  She’ll bring all the necessary materials and the log in information you may purchase to hone your weaving skills at home.

Bring your unfinished basket project(s) and materials with you.  If you need extra supplies to complete your art, once registered, email FSA at info@fallbrookschoolofthearts.org with a photo of your project and a description of the materials needed to finish so Marsha can come prepared.

Students to Bring: Unfinished basket(s) and materials, sturdy scissors, old towel, spray bottle, waterproof measuring tape or ruler & (optional) snack and personal water bottle
