Just in time for the party season, join Instructor Michelle Sherer and create your own fused glass cheese platter and wine bottle stopper. Have fun as Michelle shows you how to score, break and design your platter using an array of colorful sheet glass and glass decorations. Your art will be food safe and functional by utilizing frit (ground glass) that you make yourself. Finally, you’ll have the chance to add some bling in your creations with special dichroic glass that will make your art pop! Create one (5x12”) platter and wine stopper embellishment so you can wine and dine in style!
Please note there is an additional $25 (cash only) material fee of due in class which includes: stainless steel wine topper, stainless steel cheese knife and rubber flat pads. Please be sure to wear long pants to kneel when making frit. Beginners are welcome! Your glass art will be ready for pickup at FSA approximately one week after class. Or contact our office for shipping options and fees.
Student Supply Fee: $25 cash-only supply fee due at the workshop.
Students to Bring: N95 mask, long pants & closed-toed shoes are required.
