It’s time to get into the holiday spirit and create a Christmas Tree or holiday ornaments to celebrate the season! Join Instructor Suzanne Balestri for this special class where you have the freedom to create either a fused glass Christmas tree scene (and stand) to display on your mantel or holiday table or glass holiday ornaments! For the Christmas Tree Pop Up, she’ll show you how to cut tree branch shapes, create glass tinsel, and will help you with construction methods so your tree “pops up”! If you’d prefer to make amazing holiday ornaments such as snowmen, penguins, Judaica, candles, wreaths, Christmas trees, elves, etc., Suzanne will guide you in creating one-of-a-kind holiday treasures. You’ll be able to make as many ornaments to fill 10 sq inches of kiln space OR make one Christmas Tree Pop Up! No previous glass experience needed and beginners are welcome! Please note no outside glass is allowed at FSA.
Note: Please note there is a $5 (cash only) materials fee due at the workshop. All glass art will be kiln-fired after class and ready for pick up at FSA in approximately one week or contact our office for shipping options. Suzanne Balestri's workshops include pre-workshop instructional videos that are emailed to registered students prior to class.
Supply Fee: $5 cash-only supply fee due at time of workshop to Instructor
Supplies Students Bring: Long pants and closed-toe shoes recommended.
