Details
Creating detailed imagery on glass is possible by etching a design and then filling the voids with colorful enamel. Join Instructor Susan Hirsch as she shows you how to apply a photomask on a glass panel and then sandblast it to reveal an etched image which you’ll fill with colorful fusible enamels. Finally, Susan will guide you through the process of silk-screening for dramatic effects in creating colorful backgrounds. Choose from a selection of three photomask images: Birds in a Tree, Telephone Poles or Postcard. All tools and materials provided to create one 5 x 7” glass art panel and beginners are welcome. Optional heavy metal stands will be available for (cash-only) purchase for $10 during class.
$20 Supply Fee due at workshop
