Make it a Stained Glass Day and create a spectacular stained glass window panel you’ll cherish for a lifetime! Join Instructor Michelle Garrett White as she shows you the techniques of the old masters such as how to cut stained glass and fit into lead came channels. She’ll also help you with techniques such as soldering, framing and how to care for your stained-glass art. Michelle will demonstrate the cementing process and it will be offered if you choose to do this. You’ll have a selection of colored glass to choose from so you can customize your panel to suit your home’s décor. It’s a full day in the studio, but by the end of the workshop, you’ll take home a completed panel (8” x16 ½”). There will be a lunch break, so bring a sack lunch or enjoy other eateries in beautiful downtown Fallbrook.
Note: This class is not safe for expectant mothers; please do not wear sandals, open toe shoes or shorts for safety reasons. There is a $25 cash-only supply fee due at the workshop for lead came, zinc came, bevels, cement, whiting and supplies.
