In Historic Downtown Fallbrook
Join Instructor Helen Shafer Garcia and explore color harmonies along with the use of the elements and principles of design. While color theory can be tedious, this class will be just the opposite! Have fun learning about color effects, perspective, opacity and transparency, pigment mixing and the meanings of hues. Over the six weeks, you’ll explore subjects that will be still life with a whimsical twist using watercolor, gouache and acrylic. Additional $10 supply fee due at workshop. Supply list will be available upon registration and you’re welcome to email Helen with any questions.

Supplies Students to Bring: Bring your artist kit and these supplies on the first day of class: 1 Sheet of Arches 140 lb cold pressed watercolor paper (do not cut); 1 #12 or #14 round watercolor brush; watercolor paints you have on hand, palette, and water container. Supply list will be available upon registration, and you’re welcome to email Helen with any questions. Additional supplies will be discussed during class.
