Creating stained glass art has captivated artists since the 7th century and it’s still popular today! Join Instructor Michelle Garrett-White and get ready to color your world in stained glass. Michelle will show you how to use glass cutting tools as well as what types of glass to use for a project. In the first week, you’ll create a suncatcher as you practice techniques. In the next weeks, you’ll pick a design for your panel as you learn patterning, glass cutting, grinding, fitting, foiling, layout, soldering, framing, waxing, etc. each with step-by-step instruction. Gain confidence as your stained glass masterpiece takes shape! You’ll have several glass colors to choose from to create one gorgeous circular design that will be ready to hang or give to someone special – just in time for the holidays! Class size is limited, so register today!
