Hey Kids! Come and explore the wonderful world of bugs with Instructor Ginna Brooks. You'll learn all about how these insects fly as well as their body structure and markings. Have fun working with patterns and symmetry as you create your own fantastical bug creatures. Paint with watercolors and water-based oil pastels on artist papers to achieve incredible results. Ginna will help you choose a color scheme as she explains the principles of a color wheel. You can even finish your new creature with glittery, iridescent varnish. And, of course, you'll reinforce your flying bug and attach materials so you can hang your new pets as you enjoy watching them fly around your room! All materials are included to create two flying bugs: 1 large (approx. 20" wide) and 1 small (approx. 8" wide).
What to Bring
