If you think sketching a still life means drawing bowls of fruit...think again. Join Instructor Dixon Fish as he shows you how to draw unconventional still life groupings using pencils, Sharpies and charcoals in a rainbow of colors. This way of drawing is all about getting ideas on paper quickly - not for making finished works, so no previous experience is necessary. Dive a little deeper in this second workshop of three in this sketching series, as Dixon guides you through how to choose what to draw (as well as what to draw with ). You'll gain confidence filling the pages of your sketchbook with your colorful drawings. Use your sketches as memories or a reference for your next work of art. All materials included. You are welcome to brink a sack lunch to be enjoyed on our back deck during the 45-minute midday break.
This workshop is part of a series Dixon designed to hone your drawing skills and expand your creativity with techniques taught by a master. We hope you'll join us for the next still life workshop!
