Join Instructor Ginna Brooks as you explore the exciting world of Polymer Clay.  Learn the basics of how to combine colors to create your own unique palette of multiple hues inspired by nature or your favorite colors. Ginna will show you how to develop texture and pattern in clay using stamps, impress and rolled methods.  You'll also learn finishing techniques such as gilding and adding patina to transform your art.  This diverse medium is forgiving and fun and every scrap of clay can have a purpose.  Design and make garden-inspired gifts such as plant markers, or create magnets, pins, buttons, etc. for your own inspiration board.  Beginners are welcome.  Some materials are included in the workshop:  clay machines, cutters, texture tools & sheets, rubbers stamps, metallic & patina pigments, adhesive, finishing and polishing supplies and toaster ovens.  Additional clay will be available for purchase and all art will be cured in an oven during the workshop.
