If you’ve taken a ceramics course previously and learned the basics of ceramic construction, then this course is perfect for you!  Students should be proficient in either hand-building or throwing and able to work independently. Ideas for projects will be discussed and demonstrations given based on your interest, input and needs. Suggested projects will build on the concepts introduced in the Beginners class and focus on advanced elements of construction, including handles, feet, lids, sculpture and shape.  There are a few demonstrations, but the majority of each class is set up for you to work independently. Students may need to commit to a primary mode of construction: hand-building or throwing.
