Have fun playing with fire... but only during this afternoon workshop making Raku pottery.  What is Raku?  It’s an ancient method of using materials in the kiln that catch on fire – giving the ceramic pottery a wonderful variety of colors and interesting designs. Select one project from bowls, platters and planters (thrown by course instructors) and glaze and fire them using the Raku process. The class welcomes beginners to advanced students.  Learn about other glazing techniques and get a tour of the Fallbrook Arts Center’s current exhibition, Galaxy of the Glass, while your pottery is in the kiln. And when it’s done, take your one-of-a-kind Raku masterpiece home.
