Where creativity is nurtured, skills are acquired, and art is made
Natasha recently moved to California and spent her first summer teaching drawing, painting and printmaking at the award-winning summer camp, Carlsbad Art Farm. She is excited to now offer local classes as a Fallbrook resident. While Natasha has always been passionate about visual arts, her life took a detour when she enlisted in the Air Force. After serving for several years as a medical technician and EMT, she rejoined the civilian sector to earn a B.A. in Psychology at a mindfulness-based university. Natasha has also received a Certificate in Visual Arts. While working as a YMCA after-school program leader, her passion for teaching art to children was ignited. She experimented with various creative activities to find out what excites kids and inspires them to deepen into the artistic process. Additionally, she taught acrylic painting to adults at a wine and painting studio. She deeply enjoyed the playful, often humorous, experience of working with adults ready to have a good time. Natasha strategically balances valuable lessons in the fundamentals of fine art with spontaneity and fun. She wholeheartedly strives to impart the gifts of creative work in an enjoyable manner, encouraging students to grow. In addition to teaching groups, Natasha offers private art tutoring and sells prints of her work at www.NatashaTerry.com.
