Create an unique 4 panel lantern for your patio or home.
The class explores creating imagery with glass powders, strips, stringers and bits of glass. You will create 4 separate panels that will become your own art lantern. You will learn how to use 3 dimensional components with frit, vitragrapgh, cut glass and stringers. You can make a seasonal or themed lantern. These separate panels will be fired in the kiln and then you can assemble into your lantern.
We will have spray paint if you choose to repaint your lantern.
All projects will be fired in our kilns and available for pick-up after Friday in the following week at the Fallbrook School of the Arts.
