Using vibrant crushed glass you will make a colorful sculpture that will be fired and then ‘slumped' into an arch or wave mold. You will learn how to cut glass, make glass “frit" to create your one of a kind glass sculpture. We will also make tree limbs by pulling through a vitrograph (stringers pulled from a kiln that you can shape while warm) to add to your sculpture. These make unique gifts and will be extra special because they are hand-made by you!
All projects will be fired in our kilns and available for pick-up the following week at the Fallbrook School of the Arts.
Note: If this is your first time taking a Warm Glass workshop, please arrive 15 minutes prior to start of class for a Safety & Equipment Demonstration.
