Using a pointed “drypoint” tool you’ll scratch lines into an acrylic plate. Then you will make a print from your plate using Akua non-toxic water based inks. You’ll learn lots of ways to add color and collage to your print. You’ll leave this workshop with several of your own original prints.Bring an apron, photos, and magazines for inspiration and if you have them, old drawings too.All materials will be provided, except for printmaking paper. Printmaking paper is $1.50 per sheet and will be purchased during the workshop.Open to beginning and experienced artists.
