Class/Workshop Details

Join us for this special holiday glass workshop – just in time for Christmas!  Instructor Suzanne Balestri will show you how to create a fused glass Christmas tree scene (and stand) to display on your mantel or table.  Suzanne will provide instructions on cutting tree branches, creating glass tinsel, and construction methods so your tree “pops up”!  Or, if you’d rather, you’re welcome to create holiday ornaments in a variety of sizes and shapes.  Suzanne will guide you in glass-cutting techniques as well as design tips to create art that is truly unique.  All students will receive video links to demonstrations prior to the class so you can become familiar with several techniques before getting to work.  Plus, you’ll have a huge selection of glass and embellishments to choose from to create a spectacular tree scene or several ornaments to give as gifts or keep for yourself.  Beginners are welcome!

Note:  There is an additional $15 cash-only supply fee due at the workshop.  Your glass art will be kiln-fired after class and ready for pick up at FSA in approximately one week or contact our office for shipping options.  No outside glass allowed. Close-toed shoes recommended in the Glass Studio.
