Turns out, it’s actually okay to put all your eggs in one basket. Especially if that basket is a gorgeous handmade one! Instructor Marsha Orr is back to teach you how to create this egg basket using traditional methods like the God’s Eye pattern. She’ll show you how to create ribs as well as using an over-under weaving technique and finish with wrapping a handle. You’ll have accent color choices so you can weave in your favorite color. While this basket was originally designed to protect eggs from rolling around that were collected from the chicken coop, you could use yours as a container for plants, household items, or eggs! But you might need to get a few hens first?
Please note there is a $10 cash-only supply fee for specialty reeds due at the workshop.
Students to Bring: Sturdy scissors, old towel, spray bottle, waterproof measuring tape or ruler.
