It’s time to create some groovy mod glass art! Dig it? Join Instructor Suzanne Balestri and learn how to arrange and stack geometric shapes of colorful glass that once fired, will fuse into gorgeous mod glass trays! In this workshop, you’ll create two trays (one 8” sq + one 3” sq). Suzanne will demonstrate glass-cutting techniques as well as tips & tricks to help you achieve success. She’ll also provide design ideas using a wide range of available glass in the studio. When you’re finished stacking and creating, your glass art goes into the kiln twice to get shaped or “slumped” into a tray or plate mold of your choice. The design possibilities are endless! No prior glass experience needed. Beginners are welcome.
Note: There is an additional $10 cash-only supply fee due at the workshop. Your glass art will be kiln-fired after class and ready for pick up at FSA in approximately one week. Or contact our office for optional shipping options.
