If you’re like most artists, you have a drawer full of old prints, drawings and sketches. It’s time to breathe life into those works and repurpose them into something new. Instructor Dixon Fish will help you design and create a collage using your old artwork glued onto a wood panel. You’ll have fun prepping the panel then layering and varnishing your collage. Dixon will encourage you to think outside of the box by including other elements such as paint, colored pencils and stamps. The possibilities are endless as you unleash your imagination. Finally, you’ll have the option of turning your finished collaged art panel into a clock.
One wood panel (6”x10” or 8”x8”), paint and water-based varnish materials are supplied. Additional panels ($7/ea) and optional clock kit ($10) due at the workshop. You’re welcome to bring a sack lunch to be enjoyed on our back deck.
