Creating jewelry is an amazing art form that is fun to learn! Artist Carolyn Thom invites you to explore metal jewelry and learn a variety of beginner as well as advanced techniques while you create your very own masterpieces. You’ll work with basic jewelry-making tools and learn to pierce (saw) metal. Then, Carolyn will teach you how to work with various textures; how to make cold connections; and also how to add color and patinas to your art piece. Enjoy a creative environment as you work to develop your design... all while keeping safety in mind. All materials are included to make a gorgeous pair of earrings and/or pendants or maybe even a bracelet made by your own hands that you’ll treasure for a lifetime.
